Lead ICT Category Manager, accountable for spend, drive expertise, understand tech, markets, and costs to impact business at Lonza.

Work closely with key partners to develop effective procurement strategies that enable step-change improvements in quality, service, innovation, and balanced annual cost reductions. Develop supplier relationships that leverage supplier capabilities, improve supply continuity, and reduce the total cost of ownership. Collaborate and support the IT and Procurement leadership in efficiently implementing global strategies!

Key responsibilities:

• Develop strategies for sub-categories: Software, Hardware, OT, Communication, and related services
• Lead projects to guarantee standardization, automation, and innovation, implementing projects globally according to the agreed sourcing strategy
• Develop and maintain a project pipeline in collaboration with Lonza cross-functional teams
• Analyze and interpret requirements, spend information, and future demand plans in the IT Management spend category to develop and implement a strategic IT category strategy
• Develop and maintain a dashboard of important metrics to monitor process performance, quality, and customer happiness to drive continuous performance improvements globally, regionally, and locally
• Act as application and process owner for IT-related procurement processes
• Define and implement clear governance in regards to IT procurement

Key requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s preferred in Business Administration, Legal, Applied Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or Marketing
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in IT Procurement
• Proven experience in international and matrix environments
• Shown great teammates with collaborative and strong communication skills
• Strong business acumen
• Fluent in English
