Maintenance Technician III (Electrician - 8-hour shift)

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks on critical equipment, including Substation equipment, Infrared scanning of site panels, and emergency lighting.
  • Conduct reactive maintenance tasks on essential systems such as Kathapacs, chillers, and cooling towers.
  • Set up and program drives for facility equipment to ensure efficient functionality.
  • Complete light controls tasks, including crafting conductivity curves with instrument processors.
  • Work from and modify technical prints and other documentation to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with contractors on preventative maintenance, repairs, and continuous improvements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on all equipment, including single line drawings for the site.
  • Keep the work area clean and orderly, adhering to safety standards.
  • Work as a team member in fast-paced environments for extended periods.
  • Begin and complete safe work permits, ensuring all safety protocols are strictly followed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall maintenance objectives.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, Industrial Electronics Technology, or equivalent educational background
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance, particularly with high voltage equipment.
  • Ability to work 40 hours a week, including weekends and holidays as needed, work additional hours/days based on business needs.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of technical prints and documentation.
  • Outstanding organizational skills to maintain accurate records.
