Production Support Supervisor will lead a high-performing team, ensuring timely and accurate material kitting for production. This role focuses on team development, process optimization, and cross-functional coordination to drive efficiency and compliance in a cGMP environment.
Key responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of material handlers to optimize performance and productivity.
Conduct performance reviews, set departmental goals, and support career growth initiatives.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
Oversee kitting, replenishment, and inventory control to ensure seamless production support.
Ensure compliance with GMP regulations, proper labeling, documentation, and handling procedures.
Develop and monitor metrics to evaluate and enhance material flow, cost efficiency, and operational accuracy.
Collaborate with warehouse, production, and supply chain teams to ensure material availability.
Analyze workflows and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Drive data-driven decision-making and resource planning to align with business objectives.
Lead cross-functional meetings, address operational challenges, and implement standard methodologies.
Key requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, or a related field (M.S. or MBA preferred) or equivalent experience.
Experience: 5–10 years of experience in biotech/pharmaceutical industries, cGMP environments, and supply chain management.
Strong leadership skills with demonstrated proficiency in SAP.
Expertise in material handling, process optimization, and operational efficiency.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Works collaboratively as an active team member and within cross-functional groups.
Continuously learns from experience, setbacks, and challenges.
Supports the growth and development of others by sharing knowledge and insights.
Actively seeks diverse perspectives and implements alternative approaches to enhance processes and decision-making.
