We are actively recruiting candidates to participate in our 2025 Internship program. This program is roughly 8-12 weeks in length, with the ability for some extensions, and will immerse you into the culture and operations of Lonza Houston. Throughout your internship, you will be given the opportunity and will be expected to contribute as an active team member within your respective department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Knowledgeable and complies with all pertinent safety policies, rules and regulations.

  • Ensure that all team members comply with safety rules and regulations.

  • Maintenance of quality systems and cGMP compliance for the business by ensuring that all team members comply with processes, procedures and instructions for all activities in
    which the team participates.

  • Able to perform procedures according to written guidelines and recognize a deviation from accepted practice.

  • A majority of the work is done in cleanroom environment.

  • While working in the cleanroom, scrubs, hairnet, shoe covers, hood, gown, mask, boots and two pairs of gloves are required.

  • Must be capable of motivating others, creating a positive work climate where inter-departmental collaboration, coaching and performance feedback are continuous.

  • Capable of clearly assigning objectives, clearly setting and measuring and monitoring progress, marshaling resources and handling competing priorities.

Key Requirements:

  • Successful completion of ACC's Biotech/Life Science certification program and HS Diploma

  • Research skills and attention to detail

  • Basic lab experience required

Our Lonza Houston site is a clinical-to-commercial, multi-product manufacturing facility located in Houston, Texas. The site, which employs over 350 employees, is where our cell and gene therapy activities are conducted in a cGMP environment.
