We are looking for a Director, Global Head of HR, IT.

The Director, Global Head of HR, IT is a strategic HR leader responsible for shaping and executing the HR strategy for the IT function, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall business and people strategies. Partnering closely with the CIO and IT Leadership Team, this role provides expert HR counsel, leadership, and guidance on all aspects of HR: workforce planning, talent management, employee engagement, and HR operations to ensure the organization attracts, develops and retains top IT talent.

This position requires resilience, influencing skills, and leadership presence. The ability to engage senior leaders, challenge constructively, and drive change in a complex environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Leadership & Business Partnership

•            Serve as the trusted HR advisor to the CIO and IT Leadership Team, driving HR strategies that enable business performance.

•            Define and execute a global IT workforce strategy, ensuring the function has the right capabilities, leadership, and culture to drive digital transformation.

•            Lead organizational design and effectiveness initiatives, ensuring IT is structured for agility, innovation, and business alignment.

•            Act as a change leader, helping IT leaders navigate people-related challenges and embed a high-performance, future-ready workforce.

•            Advise IT leadership on people-related risks, compliance, and best practices

Talent Strategy & Leadership Development

•            Drive talent attraction, development, and retention strategies to build a strong IT leadership pipeline.

•            Implement leadership development and succession planning initiatives, ensuring a steady pipeline of high-potential IT talent.

•            Support leaders in fostering a culture of learning, agility, and continuous development.

•            Design and execute career development frameworks that provide clear growth paths and opportunities for employees

•            Support IT leadership and drive engagement initiatives to foster positive work environment

Organizational Effectiveness & Workforce Optimization

•            Guide the IT function in strategic workforce planning, resource allocation, and skills development to ensure business continuity and scalability.

•            Lead initiatives to enhance HR service delivery models, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability in IT workforce management.

•            Provide thought leadership on how to optimize workforce structures and sourcing models, ensuring IT has the right talent mix for long-term success.

•            Partner with IT leaders and the IT organization at large to enhance productivity, collaboration, and cross-functional teamwork

HR Operations, Governance & Compliance

•            Oversee HR processes within IT, ensuring alignment with global HR policies, compliance standards, and business needs.

•            Monitor key HR metrics, providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.

•            Foster an inclusive, high-performing, and engaged IT workforce, ensuring HR policies and practices support business priorities.

Key Metrics

•            Total workforce supported: 1,225 (including 250 regular employees)

•            Key stakeholders: CIO, IT Leadership Team

Required Skills & Competencies

•            Resilience and leadership presence, with the ability to influence and drive change in a complex and evolving IT function.

•            Strategic HR leadership experience, with a strong ability to challenge, coach, and guide senior leaders.

•            Deep expertise in workforce planning, organizational design, and HR service delivery optimization.

•            Strong track record in leading large-scale HR initiatives, including talent development, leadership succession, and culture transformation.

•            Proven ability to operate in a matrixed, multinational environment, balancing global strategy with practical execution.

•            High-level analytical skills with the ability to translate HR metrics into actionable business insights.

•            Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a strong ability to build credibility and trust at the executive level.

•            Experience in Strategic Capability Planning and managing organizational change through transformation

Preferred Experience

•            Several years of HR leadership experience, with a focus on strategic HR business partnering in global functions.

•            Experience leading HR for IT or digital/technology functions in a complex global organization.

•            Experience in optimizing workforce structures and service delivery models, with a proven ability to balance operational efficiency with business needs.

•            Prior experience with transformational HR initiatives, particularly in talent strategy, digital transformation, and organizational effectiveness.

Education & Certifications

•            Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

•            Master’s degree or HR certification preferred.
