Four our Site in Visp , we’re currently looking for an EHS Manager (m/f/d). The EHS Manager is driving the successful implementation and optimization of Environmental, Occupational Health, and Safety (EHS) programs jointly with the assigned manufacturing & laboratory facilities.
The EHS Manager is the first contact person for all EHS aspects in operations and enables the business to produce in a safe and sustainable environment.

Key responsibilities:
Acts as point of contact for EHS topics and supports the allocated operational unit(s) in achieving compliance with EHS regulations
Provides support for EHS risk assessments (owner is the business)
Performs EHS assessment and approval of Technical Change Requests (TCRs)
Participates in and provides subject matter expertise during Safety Gemba Walks, audits and other walkthroughs
Facilitates execution and documentation of EHS incident investigations (owner is the business)
Supports the business with EHS CAPA definition and tracking
Collaborates closely with the Safety Coaches from the allocated operational unit(s) as part of the implementation of EHS initiatives
Conducts trainings on EHS topics as laid out in the overall site EHS training strategy
Acts as representative of site EHS (EHS ambassador) for allocated investment projects
Key requirements:
Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, Engineering, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology or equivalent
Proven process understanding in Biopharma manufacturing (cGMP & safety aspects)
Proven Leadership competence
Very strong communication skills in German and English, both verbal and written
Strong presentation skills for developing and delivering training to elevate knowledge, skills and behaviors at multiple levels of the organization
Dealing with high level of ambiguity using coaching skills
High level of social competence
