We are currently looking for an expert Utilities Operator to join our site in Porrino in North West Spain.
The Utilities Operator will maintain operational and control the incidents of the systems assigned to Utilities (air, steam, gases, water ...), following the operating procedures and the requirements of the GMP regulations, to ensure the supply continuous and reliable services that affect production and auxiliary services.
Key responsibilities:
Control the continuous and reliable supply of services that affect production and auxiliary services.
Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure the flawless operation of utility equipment.
Identify and resolve potential issues in systems, ensuring quality standards are consistently maintained.
Anticipate problems and propose solutions independently, strictly adhering to guidelines.
Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, ensuring that all relevant information is accurately understood.
Conduct monitoring rounds of the facilities and record the normal status of the facilities, as well as report incidents that have occurred.
Technically understand and handle the documentation, plans, manuals, and technical specifications of the installations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the operation of the systems and manage work permits in Utilities areas and facilities.
Key requirements:
Background in chemistry, biology, or engineering to support the understanding of biotechnological processes involved in utility operations.
Proficiency in the use of maintenance and operations management software, such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or utility management systems.
Experience in completing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, ensuring the accurate functioning of equipment and minimizing downtime.
Experience in operating and managing systems such as purified water, steam, compressed air, refrigeration, and other critical utility systems.
Familiarity with automation and process control systems, with the ability to adjust parameters as needed.
Knowledge of cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and FDA and EMA regulations related to utility production and management in industrial settings.
Proficiency in Spanish and English.
