Role Purpose:

Join Lonza as a Material Planner. Craft Materials Requirements Plans to support product Supply Plan.

Key Accountabilities and Duties:

  • Own the material plans for a portfolio of products, ensuring sufficient tested and released stock is availabl to support business requirements.
  • Liaise with Supply Planner and Schedulers to keep material plans up to date in response to demand changes and production plans.
  • Work closely with procurement to convert material requirements plans into Purchase Orders.
  • Build and maintain planning parameters in SAP to optimize material planning.
  • Collaborate with other sites to balance inventory levels, preventing supply issues and excess stocks within Lonza's network.
  • Expedite material availability through effective communication with procurement and inbound material processing teams.
  • Complete important tasks to manage optimise inventory, reducing scrap/waste and supporting Supply Chain critical metrics.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects within the MRP team and the broader Supply Chain department.

Degree or equivalent experience required Field of Study Preferred BS Field of Study Supply Chain Management or Business Management
