In order to support our continued growth Lonza is seeking Plant Specialist (m/f/d) to join our talent community in Visp, Switzerland. The plant specialist in the BioConjugates IBEX is the link between the plant team responsible for the project, the operators and the shift team leader for the project or plant assigned to them.
Key Responsibilities:
Acts as a role model in BioConjugates IBEX and as a leader in the project and supports the project members in terms of safety culture.
Supports the opinion of the shift team leader and discusses the available resources on an ongoing basis.
Enters the current status of own project in the electronic shift book and is responsible for the shift handover.
Is the first point of contact for technical issues and process deviations.
Strives to provide the team with further technical training.
Ensures the implementation of the required work in the assigned work area in accordance with the applicable specifications (GMP, quality) in the team.
Key Requirements:
Completed vocational training (EFZ) and/or experience in BioConjugates
Chemical or pharmaceutical technology training as well as GMP and/or LBT training is an advantage
Accurate working and documentation methods, working with computers (Excel, Word and process control systems)
Carrying out work with a high level of safety awareness
Willingness to work shifts (4-shift operation) with flexibility in work scheduling
