Drive within the quality organization improvement and transformation projects to deliver business results. He/She holds a key role in the Divisional program “Planning for Quality, Control and Reliability” for effective failure reduction, pro-active risk mitigation, sustainable knowledge management and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities:
Analyze business processes across the value stream—from contracting customers to batch release—to identify improvement opportunities and create optimized processes for the product lifecycle.
Develop and implement a lean system to capture, document, and align customer requirements with scientifically derived parameters.
Define process gates to cross-validate customer requirements, synchronize internal stakeholders, and develop or adjust tools for seamless implementation.
Create and maintain generic control plans for business and manufacturing processes to identify and mitigate risks throughout the product lifecycle.
Establish a structured, continuous process for problem identification and resolution, utilizing a visual quality clinic to track status and improvements.
Provide regular updates on the implementation status of Quality PfQCR activities and coordinate efforts across Small-/Midscale & Large-Scale Operations at Visp.
Key requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Engineering, or similar. MSc or PhD in a relevant field preferred.
Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
5-10 years experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry with advanced-level expertise.
Expertise in Operational Excellence tools (PDCA, value stream mapping, FMEA, etc.).
Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills for collaboration within a matrix organization.
Agility, business acumen, collaboration, customer focus, driving results, and leadership.
Business fluency in German and English.
