The Manufacturing Team Lead is responsible for leading the daily operation of the LAL cleanrooms, Finishing and Inspection Area activities. Coordinates the Filling and Finishing staff to ensure the manufacturing schedule is executed according to proper procedures and guidelines. Maintains the operation of the LAL manufacturing area within the requirements of cGMP and ISO 9001 regulations. Ensures a safe working environment at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Leads and coordinates activities on the production floor
Demonstrates mastery knowledge of Manufacturing/Processing in a manner that us recognized by colleagues as a valuable source of expertise
Actively coaches and mentors junior level technicians on the floor
Participates in development planning and performance review of junior level technicians by providing feedback to management regarding day-to-day performance
Participates in IDP and MAP planning
Leads LAL specific manufacturing projects and campaigns
Leads and coordinates continuous improvement initiatives (OE)
Must demonstrate an understanding of production timelines, constraints, and workload management
Serves as manufacturing designee on the production floor while maintaining high quality and compliance
Participates in scheduling activities
Demonstrates mastery knowledge of Trackwise while participating in the management of all records
Primary trainer of all LAL Finishing processes
Serves as the back-up for a supervisor
Key Requirements:
HS diploma required; College Degree in Scientific discipline (or related experience), preferred.
5 years of working experience in a GMP environment required.
Strong problem-solving skills required.
Familiar with lab techniques and practices (basic GMP and GDP) required.
Understanding of BOMs (bill of materials) required
General technical and scientific knowledge required.

The full-time base annual salary for this onsite position is expected to range is between $72,000.00 and $84,000.00. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the successful candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and job-related knowledge.
