The Endotoxin Supervisor will be responsible for the daily supervision of 5-10 personnel and operation of the LAL manufacturing areas. Coordinates resources to meet the manufacturing schedule and ensures processes are executed according to proper procedures and guidelines. Meets key performance indicators and drives continuous improvements. Maintains the operations of the LAL manufacturing area within the requirements of GMP and ISO 9001 regulations. Always ensure a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe working environment and personnel adhere to all safety guidelines.

  • Supervise all daily manufacturing duties. Provide input to the manufacturing schedule by working with the Department Planner.

  • Ensure daily production schedule is met. Manages personnel and equipment capacity to meet production demands.

  • Maintain production equipment in good working order. Work with support groups to source, maintain, repair and retire equipment.

  • Timely investigation and resolution of manufacturing deviations, CAPAs, and customer complaints.

  • Review and revise batch records, SOPs, and forms to ensure compliance with GMPs. Timely review of completed batch records.

  • Participate in new product introductions, cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives and internal and customer audits.

  • Coach, mentor and guide direct reports. Participate in performance reviews and career development with personnel. Ensure training compliance is met.

  • Provides communication support by establishing and enforcing communication policies and procedures.

  • Quality - Adherence to cGMPs is required at all times during the manufacture of APIs. All personnel own the quality of what they deliver and are responsible for notifying responsible management in a timely manner of regulatory inspections, serious GMP deficiencies, process deviations, product defects and related actions.  

  • Safety - Must know and follow job safety procedures, attend required health and safety training, proactively promote safety at work, and promptly report actual and potential accidents and injuries. Must comply with safety policies of the company and site.  

Key Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and minimum of 8 years of previous relevant manufacturing experience required; or College Degree in Life Sciences or Engineering and minimum of 3 years of production experience, preferred.

  • Must have knowledge of GMP and aseptic clean room behavior.

  • Training, coaching, negotiating and team building experience required.

  • Must have strong record keeping, written and oral communication skills.

  • Must have strong computer software skills.

  • Must have formal leadership, time management and budget experience.

The full-time base annual salary for this onsite position is expected to range is between $95,400.00 and $111,300.00. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the successful candidates qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and job-related knowledge. Full-time employees receive a comprehensive benefits package including performance-related bonus, medical and dental coverage, 401k plan, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, an employee assistance program, paid time off (PTO), and more.
