Hiring Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, HR, psychology, or business administration, or equivalent experience, required.

  • Master’s degree in business or organizational development desired

  • Confirmed advanced progressive experience in HR or equivalent experience

  • Outstanding expertise in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, development, employee relations, safety, training, and labor relations

  • Detailed oral and written communication skills

  • High level of integrity and ethics

  • Strong analytical skills

Job Details

We are looking for a Senior Human Resource Business Partner to support the growth of our Houston site. You will be instrumental in developing people strategy, providing an outstanding employee experience, and encouraging a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide business support on various HR-related topics to assigned departments and managers

  • Facilitate employee development, performance management, goal setting, and policy assessments

  • Develop and understand staffing requirements and human resources plans with managers

  • Independently handle senior-level HR projects and problem-solving

  • Provide mentorship to managers and supervisors on performance and related matters

  • Handle employee relations issues, investigations, and provide mentorship to team members

  • Develop and deliver key HR training, including anti-harassment, interview, and supervisory training

  • Efficiently implement HR policies, initiatives, processes, and programs

  • Coordinate and lead all aspects of the performance management and salary planning processes

  • Lead recruitment efforts and handle the onboarding process for new employees

  • Develop annual training plans for all employee training requirements

  • Champion and lead the performance management processes

Additional Information

This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the HR landscape of a rapidly growing site. You will collaborate with a diverse, hardworking team dedicated to improving the world through science. This position is full-time, located in Houston, TX, with a standard work shift of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
