Advanced Setup Technician I (12 hour night shifts):

Are you a bold professional looking to make an impact in a dynamic maintenance role? Lonza AG is seeking an especially skilled Advanced Setup Technician I to join our Greenwood, SC team. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with brand-new technology and contribute to our elite production processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with order changes and Unified equipment.
  • Prepare supplies and equipment for order changes.
  • Perform breakdown and cleaning of HCM and other production equipment.
  • Conduct detailed inspections of equipment for foreign capsules.
  • Collect scrap and perform housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Enter data in SharePoint and manage gel inventory.
  • Initiate order changes if OCT II is not available.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
  • Consistently showing up on time is a key responsibility in this role.
  • Work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays, with flexibility for additional hours as business needs dictate.

Other Duties

  • Perform tasks and responsibilities of an Operator Support Associate (OSA).
  • Meet expectations on Safety, Attendance, Collaboration, Quality, and Efficiency metrics.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • A score of 100 or below on the Color Test.
  • Passing scores on all required Work Keys and Bennett Mechanical Testing.
  • Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Good verbal communication skills and collaboration capabilities.
  • Basic computer and software knowledge.
  • Demonstrated logistical thinking and troubleshooting ability.

Desired Skills

  • Mechanical/Electrical background.
  • Troubleshooting experience.
