Cell therapy facility to meet clinical and commercial demand
Located close to Boston, a key US biotech hub for cell and gene therapy, we provide support for both clinical and commercial manufacturing of these novel therapies. Our state-of-the-art cell therapy manufacturing suites were completed in 2016 and further expanded in 2018 to meet growing customer demand.

In the community
Our employee engagement in the local community has been a cornerstone of our workforce. Every year since 2001, a team of dedicated Lonza employees has run the Harvest Open, an annual golf tournament to raise money for Portsmouth-area charities. In that time, we've raised and donated over $1M to local non-profits organizations.
We are also proud that a number of employees are local non-profit board members.
Lonza Portsmouth has a long-term relationship with the Granite United Way and we have been instrumental in the success of the United Way Community Baby Shower. Our employees consistently give their time and money to the United Way as well as other local charitable organizations.
